At the one operator we tested, not in low season. The same October week quoted 3½ weeks ahead and 13 months ahead differed by 0–3.4%, with the far-ahead quote slightly dearer. That compared October 2026 with October 2027, so treat it as a sighting. In summer, book early for availability — the cheap cars do run out.
